I. Overview
Accidental Damage warranty is a comprehensive warranty that protects users from damage not typically covered under warranty. This warranty is direct from the manufacturer and is not a "3rd party" warranty. The warranty is tied into the serial # of the laptop and there is no need to "register" or "activate" the warranty after purchase.
II. What the warranty covers:
- Water damage or liquid spills
- Accidental drops and other "impact" damage
- Electrical surges or static electricity
- LCD cracks or shatters
- Laptop battery (1yr only. ALL manufacturers)
III. What the warranty doesn't cover:
- Minor cosmetic damage (normal wear & tear, scratches, minor dents, etc)
- Failed repair attempts made by non-certified technicians
- Theft or loss of laptop
- Software corruption from virus, spyware, data disasters, etc.
- NO warranty covers software damage
